Jason Larke is an Australian-born entrepreneur with deep roots in Port Antonio, Jamaica, and a passionate advocate for Footy 9s on the global stage. Growing up in Australia, Jason developed a profound love for the sport, playing for renowned clubs like St Kilda City FC, Clayton Magpies FC and in Indigenous tournaments for Bunorong Eagles at the VACSAL Carnivals.
His dedication to sports is further reflected in his academic background, holding qualifications in Community Recreation and Fitness.
Jason’s athletic prowess extends beyond football; he was awarded the prestigious Pierre De Coubertin Award for his sporting achievements, including becoming a Victorian State Champion in various athletic events and competing with the Melbourne Tigers juniors in basketball. His commitment to sports and community is also demonstrated through his involvement with the Peter Norman Commemoration Committee, where he played a pivotal role in erecting a statue honoring the Australian Olympian and Human Rights advocate.
Jason combines his rich sporting background with entrepreneurial acumen to drive the growth of Footy 9s in new and emerging markets.
