Jason’s athletic prowess extends beyond football; he was awarded the prestigious Pierre De Coubertin Award for his sporting achievements, including becoming a Victorian State Champion in various athletic events and competing with the Melbourne Tigers juniors in basketball. His commitment to sports and community is also demonstrated through his involvement with the Peter Norman Commemoration Committee, where he played a pivotal role in erecting a statue honoring the Australian Olympian and Human Rights advocate.
