FOOTY 9s
It is well known that the traditional 18-a-side game provides significant participation barriers to entry outside of Australia.
These include a lack of access to large oval fields, significant infrastructure in the form of goal & behind posts and line marking, and the number of players required to field two teams.
As a result Footy 9s has been developed by AFI to allow Australian Football to be played on soccer or rugby fields around the globe, without losing any of the fun or excitement associated with the traditional game.
