Macau Footy 9s jumper front
AUSTRALIA & MACAU
Macau was a former Portuguese colony, which was returned to the People’s Republic of China on 20 December 1999 as a Special Administrative Region (SAR). Small numbers of Macau-born, of either or both Chinese and Portuguese ancestries, have migrated to Australia over a number of decades since Macau was a Portuguese colony

Approximately 2,000 people of Macanese descent live in Australia and around 2,000 Australians live in Macau.
