JUDGE AND INDICATE SCORES
GOAL
Kicked by an attacking player, through the goal posts, without being touched by an opponent or teammate.
When the ball hits any part of the posts and continues through the posts, the goal umpire shall signal a goal.
When the ball hits any part of the posts and comes back into the field of play, the field umpire shall call “Play On” and play shall continue.
TO SIGNAL A GOAL
Goal umpires indicate a goal has been scored via a thumbs up signal, with both arms and thumbs extended away from the body.
NO SCORE
When an attacking player attempts to score a goal, but is unsuccessful.
TO SIGNAL A NO SCORE
Goal umpires indicate a goal has not been scored by crossing both arms directly in front of the body, forming an X.
TO SIGNAL OUT OF BOUNDS
Goal umpires indicate the ball has crossed the goal line (the line on which the goals are located) by lifting one arm up and holding it in a horizontal position.
Out of bounds to the right of the goals – hold up the right arm.
Out of bounds to the left of the goals – hold up the left arm.
